Original "Introducing THE BEATLES" Ad Back STEREO -- Very Rare Collectible. Condition is Used. Free Shipping via USPS Media Mail.
One owner for more than 55 years -- purchased new in January, 1964. Cover is in Near Mint condition, plain white inner sleeve, record has average use and plays without skips. Owner (as a young girl) did write her initials on the record label on Side II.
This initial version was the first Beatles album released for sale in the U.S. It happened on January 10, 1964, but six days later a restraining order caused sales to cease because Vee-Jay Records did not have a license to sell "P.S. I Love You" and "Love Me Do." Given that only 2,000 or so copies were sold in this Stereo version of more than 1.3 million copies sold in 1964 overall, this is a very coveted item of memorabilia.
