Hi All, its been some time since I put a few records up for auction, however, the thinning out of my collection continues. OK for your consideration we have:

Issue: Original 1970 UK issue on the BLUE HORIZON Label
Vinyl Condition visual: Visually, the vinyl grades as EX; it has retained most of its gloss and deep sheen. The disc is clean and shows only the minimum of careful handling marks. There are no noticeable scratches or marks to vinyl, it’s a strong EX.
Vinyl Condition Playback: EX; almost silent run-in and between tracks. Some very occasional low level/mild clicks/pops in a few places during play-back commensurate with age and grade. That said, it’s a strong EX. The vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable.
Label Condition: Ex; just look at the pics, hardly any noticeable spindle marks, no damage or other unwanted blemishes at all to the labels. All script is clean and legible.
Cover Front: The front cover grades as VG; the un-laminated front cover is generally clean the central image is clear but ring-wear is showing as is rubbing in places. The delicate nature of this type of cover doesn’t help.
Cover Back: VG; the un-laminated back is in VG condition being reasonably clean and damage free. Age related rubbing/blemishes in one or two places and a few mild creases but absolutely nothing too serious at all and all commensurate with age and grade.
Spine: VG-; the spine is intact, has some shape and the text is legible – rubbing along the entire edge.
Corners: G; all corners are bumped and show a little loss of colour in places.
Summary: In this case, the disc is clearly better than the cover, however, all in all, a reasonable copy for the BLUE HORIZON collector. If you’re after a minter please do not bid on this, as a package, I grade this as VG+.
Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.
