Description
The original DARK SHADOWS soundtrack album came out in 1969 at the height of Dark Shadows mania and crashed into the Top 20 of the US Albums chart.
17 years later, in 1986, a 2nd volume was released on LP and CD. With liner notes by composer Robert Cobert, it contained over a dozen more tunes from the classic horror soap including a different version of Quentin's Theme and the gorgeous Ode to Angelique. Fans of the series will recognize all of this music as the music played almost all the time on the series and periodically (often when a new storyline began), Cobert would introduce a brand new set of songs,scores and cues. Other tracks include "The Head of Judah Zachery" "Curse of the Full Moon" and "Josette's Room"
The LP and the CD both went out of print but the LP vanished far more quickly (this was released in the waning days of the LP - well before its modern resurgence) and it being re-issued is highly unlikely.
So grab it while you can. You don't see it on here too often and most folks are charging way more than I am....I just want it to land in a good home of a fellow Dark Shadows fan like myself....
