+++ AUDIO OF RECORD INCLUDED IN LISTING ++++++
Very Rare ORIGINAL STEREO 1964 Introducing the Beatles (SR1062) Version 2 U.S. Pressing on the solid black VJ label, with thin STEREO print and ’The Beatles’ printed above the spindle hole.
Extremely hard to find a stereo original, let alone one for sale in the U.K.
Matrix Nos:
side 1: S 63-3402-STEREO ?6313 URT (hand etched) (MR) in circle (machine stamped)
side 2: S 63-3403-STEREO ?6313X URT (hand etched) (MR) in circle (machine stamped)
Cover - The cover is not in the best condition, there are some blue ink spots (fountain pen?) on the left side of the cover. An old price written in pen on the inside edge opening, and a previous owners name is written in pen on the the back top left.
There is a piece of damage at opening edge middle way down, which has crumpled a rectangle shaped part of the over. 2.5 cm seam split to top opening edge. Some ringwear to cover image, and wear to seams and corner. Spine text mostly readable apart from catalogue number.
Vinyl - Visually VG - has some light to moderate scattered scuffing and marks, nothing nasty. Playback is generally great, with some clicks audible in places between tracks and surface noise in the background, but music plays clear. Record grading is very subjective, so I have provided a recording of both sides of the LP in the player below in this listing - judge for yourself!
Labels show lots of spindle trails and wear to spindle hole.
Inner sleeve is a generic (yellowed) white sleeve, which I guess could be the original.
