Description
Original The Beatles Second Album Capitol T 2080 Mono in cellophane. LP says Recorded in England. Jacket says Made in U.S.A. Original cellophane is torn up kind of badly, but the wrap has done an excellent job protecting the jacket. There is a little jacket wear and discoloring - nothing at all bad. Very little. There is a hole punch in the upper right corner indicating, I suppose, a cut-out record. Original K-Mart Special sticker attached.
I did not test this album on turntable, but upon close inspection in bright light, it looks to have never been played. Very clean, no scratches. No wear or scratches around center hole. No fingerprints or anything like that. Not even much static dust at all on album. Like a newly opened LP and I see no reason why it would not play beautifully and problem free. I truly doubt this was ever played or even taken out of its original sleeve. If you see anything peculiar in the LP photo that may look like something bad, I can assure you it s a lighting glare - no issues. Black label w/ rainbow color band.
I pulled this out of a retirement community library several years back. Management said “the records aren’t being used and we need to make room for the movies”. Their album collection just sat on shelves and was considered obsolete. I only had minutes and grabbed about 30 albums out of 1000 about to be trashed. I was the UPS man making a delivery. The rescued albums were immediately placed inside protective sleeves and stored in my personal collection since.
