Fantastic vintage original Blue Note cover of Johnny Griffin Blowing Sessions Vol. 2 BLP 1559, originally handsigned by Johnny Griffin!!
The cover is of thick cardboard, it is not laminated and the address on back is 47West 63rd St., New York 23.
The cover appears in like new condition! For some reasons the record is missing, it is the cover only!! The pre-owner had it well framed behind glass displayed at his wall.
This record comes from the archive of one of the most passionate german jazz collectors, who recently passed away at the age of 90 years.
He did not miss any important jazz concert in Germany since the end of the 1940ies up to now and most of the musicians he knew in person. Many of the most famous jazz musicians like Peterson, Brubeck etc. would even send him X-Mas cards and sign all his records and photos for him.
Don`t miss this little gem of jazz history!
Cover is located in Germany, postage as recommended letter (not insured but tracked) to the U.S. is $15, to Asia $17 and to Europe $13. In this case postage is the same either with or without record, it`s the size which matters...
