Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Ornette Coleman “At the Golden Circle, Volume 1” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4224. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with just a single inaudible scuff on each side. The coated New York 23 cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; 3/8” split on the top seam, at the opening; ½” split on the bottom seam, at the opening; small writing next to song titles on the back slick. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include David Izenzon, and Charles Moffett. $100.00.
