Description
This is the original promo copy of Ornette Coleman “Friends and Neighbors” on the white labels of Flying Dutchman FDS 123. The playing surface is in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once, if at all. The laminated gatefold cover is bright and clean throughout; the bottom seam of both panels has ½” wear/split at the opening; 1 ¼” wear on the top seam of the front panel. The gatefold is signed twice by Ornette – once over the photos and another inscribed “To Dan, Stay good-8 Ornette Coleman”. There is another unreadable signature at the top. Flying Dutchman promo brochure is included. Personnel include Charlie Haden, Dewey Redman, and Ed Blackwell. $250.00.
