Otis Clay – ‘Baby Jane’ / ‘You Hurt Me For The Last Time’ – Dakar 610 wd (US)
The swinging but perhaps somewhat atypical (well, for Dakar at least) ‘Baby Jane’ is cool, but the real winner here is, of course, the flip, the sublime Karl Tarleton-penned ‘You Hurt Me For The Last Time’, which is one of Otis Clay’s best, and one of the finest sides on the collectable Dakar label ever – which is saying something! Hard to find in this top condition, don’t miss it!
Condition: Close to Excellent (please listen to the clips). Basically clean labels save for a small stain and what looks like a child’s rub-on transfer on the ‘Baby Jane’ side (please see scans).
