Description

An original 1968 1st USA super solid copy from 1968 on VOLT RECORDS [wowzer!]. The vinyl comes housed in an original paste-over cover with correct 1841 Broadway address. If you love these tunes - well worth insisting on a great playing original copy. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. I can only make out a couple of minor marks per side, a couple of superficial trails - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation per side. Wow, a real banger - it plays absolutely sweet. A lot of these tracks are soulful and VERY delicate - you're gonna need a super copy to do them real justice. And this original 60's copy is doing a fantastic job of broadcasting the warmth and detail in these all-time classic tracks. Don't skimp. Bag yourself a cracking copy for Xmas. Very little to turn your nose up at. Clean player throughout a couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. A couple of ticks in one isolated spot per side. But basically....a barnstorming rendition which would be very hard to better.
Cover (Vg) Looking much better than most examples that will surface. Good solid copy with nice surfaces. The rear has avoided much of the ageing process. Some edge wear in places but nice firm openings. 1 inch bottom opening edge tape repair [hardly worth mentioning]. The spine is 70% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
