Description
P J Harvey - Rid Of Me
Vinyl LP record
Island Records ILPS 8002, 1993
Outer sleeve intact and undamaged - no splits, tears or creases. No edge-wear. Corners very slightly worn, see picture. No writing inside or outside. Inner sleeve intact and undamaged - no splits, tears or creases. Very slight imprint of the edge of the record. One little brown spot! EX-
Vinyl intact and undamaged. No cracks or chips (or little brown spots). A few light surface scratches, some swirls. Labels intact and undamaged, no writing. Plays very well indeed, but bear in mind this is a vinyl pressing of a PJ Harvey album recorded by Steve Albini - it's dynamic, with loud loud bits and quiet quiet bits, so there's audible vinyl surface noise under some of the music. It's really not that bad, but it is sometimes there. As well as this there are a few audible clicks here and there, including a run of three or four at the end of the title track when it gets very quiet. VG+

Inside the sleeve I found some press cuttings:
• Albini Produces P J Harvey. News item, Melody Maker, Oct '92.
• Coming Up Man-Sized. Simon Reynolds. Live review of Academy, NYC gig. MM, July '93.
• Size Queenie. David Bennun interview plus front cover. MM, July '93.
• Melody Maker interview ("first major feature", but only two columns!), Feb '92.
These are in reasonable condition: flat, a bit yellow around the ages, but one or two tears at the edges, and the Size Queenie centre-spread has been cruelly torn right down the middle, and thus through the portrait of Polly by Maria Mochnacz. Grrr!
