I bought this record new in 1969,
In Readings records of Clapham Junction.
I have just played this LP on my “project Pro deck & it gave a really excellent sound, just one or two light pops which may have been static? The playing surface has a high shine with a few light marks that I could not hear,the sound is really good, but I also played it on my 1960s Dansette record player, and that was just spectacular.
The Cover has some light wear around the outside edges, a very slight scuff above the K of ska, you may see it in my picture also a very small tear, less then half an inch, on the bottom fold of the opening. Some light browning on the rear no writing or other tears.
The record labels are excellent, just a few spindle marks.NO WRITING.
I play all my records before I put them on, but I have to say, this just brought back wonderful memories of my teenage years in south London when I was privileged to hang out with a bunch of guys whose parents had come over on the Windrush, I must have looked odd as the only white guy, but they taught me more about life then anyone. We lost touch when I moved to Kingston (Surrey not Jamaica!) it was a sad loss.
