GRADING

 

I do not list anything under a VG+ condition, unless they are really rare, most vinyls are in a minimum EX condition.  Where there is a grade quoted, please use the guidelines below.

 

I grade visually under a very bright light, grading vinyl is always rather subjective, however I grade using the following guidelines:

 

  • Mint = unplayed
  • NM = played, but with very little visible sign of being played
  • EX = some spindle wear, may be a finger mark, but again little sign of having been played
  • VG = a few light surface marks, some spindle wear, may be some audible interference
  • G = a few heavier surface marks which may hiss or pop
  • AV = many surface marks some of which will be audible
