Scarce original Aladdin Records issue by Papa Lightfoot - two strong post-war blues sides from one of the finest harmonica players of the era.
Original Aladdin Records, Hollywood California pressing featuring “After-While” and “P.L. Blues.” A desirable blues 78 from the golden age of post-war rhythm & blues, increasingly difficult to locate in clean collector condition.
Papa Lightfoot (Ricks “Papa” Lightfoot) is remembered as a powerful harmonica stylist whose intense tone and modern sound helped shape the electric blues era.
