View My Other Items For SaleThis has been play graded and it plays VG at best...
One of the overlooked gems of British Psychedelia..A 3 piece band (male) with folky roots,it has strong harmonies augumented by psychey style orchestration..There is one rocking track (which appeared on The "Broken Dreams 3" album),but the rest of the album is MUCH more gentle and whimsical...In fact,it has long been one of my favourite albums in the Acid-folk.60's Uk Psych genre!.
This is NOT a top copy,but as it is so hard to find and is the first spare copy that I have had to offer for sale in many a year,I am sure that someone will want it (even if just to hear the great music!)..
Issued on Deram in 1969 SML 1059..STEREO..UK pressing 1969..
The sleeve is front laminated..
It only grades as a VG..The front is not too bad with only a couple of laminate creases..There is some rubbing to the edges and the corners are rounded..The back is the problem as it has considerable grubbiness..There are no rips or tears,writing,sellotape,seam splits or other such damage..
The record looks VG minus at best..It has quite a few hairlines and one or two more visible marks..There is also a patch of discoloring at the beginning of side 2..
How does it play?..Well,it dont click or pop and there are NO jumps or skips,but it does play crackly all the way through..The discoloured patch causes some light "Swishing" as well..
The labels are undamaged with no stickers or scribble..There is some visible spindle wear to the areas around the centre holes...
A rare album (forget the £40.00 in the UK Price Guides..£140.00 is more like it!), that has seen better days..Bargain!.
