This disc was released with both the yellow and the blue 'sunburst' pattern. We have the yellow, and I don't know whether they were issued at the same time or in different years (perhaps the variations merely indicate which factories they were pressed at). None of the sites I have visited can explain. Some have suggested that the yellow was generally used for mono and the blue for stereo, but--this is a YELLOW STEREO. It might be that they used the yellow labels for stereo at first and then went to the blue, or that they ran out of the blue labels and resorted to the yellow). I got the "1958" from DISCOGS. It is a very nice item in any case, despite the fact that it is not in perfect condition. Currently there are two similar copies on eBay listed at well over $100.
