PARADELA DE OLIVEIRA PORTUGAL COIMBRA FADO TOP RARE USA 78 RPM RECORD
Victor 81460 – Paradela de Oliveira (Portuguese guitar and Viola) – Top Rare Early US 10”, 78 rpm Record with Black Scroll label - Paradela de Oliveira (1904 – 1970) was a notable Portuguese Coimbra Fado guitarist and singer. Coimbra Fado is a genre of fado originating in the city of Coimbra, Portugal which was adopted as the music of the university students of this city, also known as Student Fado. The tracks on this record (Um Fado de Coimbra; Fado Triste) were originally recorded in 1927 in Portugal for the His Master Voice label- Label: VG++ / Record: VG (some light surface scratches/scuffs, a couple of feelable scratches, some graying, one edge chip that doesn’t affect the grooved surface)

I use “Goldmine Magazine” grading method, in accordance with the following sequence:

· VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
· VERY GOOD (VG)
· GOOD (G)
(+ or -) Slightly better or worse than the grade given.
My highest grade for a non-sealed record is usually NM (Near Mint).
