Description

  • This is an ORIGINAL 1957 U.S. DECCA RECORDS 7" 45 IN ITS RARE ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE containing the all-time country classic titled 'Walkin' After Midnight' backed with 'A Poor Man's Roses'.  It is Decca Records U.S. catalog number 9-30221, black mid-1950s Decca Records labels with silver print and Decca 'star' logo..

     Condition aspects are as follows:

    Condition of record is a beautiful SOLID NM with NO visible surface marks. Labels have no real flaws. Picture sleeve is admittedly an ugly duckling which I usually would not offer in this condition grade, but it's a RARE and HISTORIC item that does not often turn up in any condition, I have done some repair work as much as was possible -- Condition of picture sleeve is poor to fair with a number of prominent flaws - Sleeve has a good number of light brown mildew spots on both sides, some fraying and small tears across its top edge, some small splits and fraying along all three of the other edges, a 3" split running down the top of one edge which I have carefully and neatly repaired by taping from the inside, some slight wrinkles, some light general age discoloration, and some general wear along the edges. On the plus side picture sleeve has NO water damage, writing, or stickers.
