Description
What I’m offering is a WHITE LABEL PROMO copy of the debut punk rock LP by Patti Smith titled Horses, issued on Arista AL-4066 in 1975. This is an ORIGINAL pressing and NOT a reissue of any kind.
The grading on the LP is VG+ cover, NM record.
The cover, which has the words Horses on the front in white print instead of the more common black print, has a bottom left promo (?) punch hole, a ¾ inch top center seam split, light surface wear on the front, moderate surface wear on the back, and small dings/ creases in the corners. There is also a PROMOTIONAL COPY – NOT FOR SALE sticker on the back cover (see scan).
The record, which comes in its original Arista inner sleeve, has STERLING (mastering) stamped and RL (Robert Ludwig) hand-etched in the trail-off area. The record is in solid NM condition with NO scuffs or scratches. NICE COPY!!
