Description
This is the Paul Butterfield Blues Band’s self titled first LP on the Elektra Records label catalog number EKS-7294, stereo, released in 1965. This record has the gold label with the guitar player which indicates that it is the first pressing of the recording. The band included legendary guitarist Mike Bloomfield as well as Elvin Bishop.
All records that I have for sale are from my personal collection and played exclusively on a high end turntable. They are play tested in order to provide an accurate description of the condition.
This 52 year old record was pressed on thick vinyl. The record is in excellent condition, very clean and sounds great with minimal stylus on vinyl sounds and occasional light clicking which is normal for a record of this age. Record labels are in excellent condition.
The outer jacket is in excellent condition with only barely visible corner wear. All seams are solid. The original Elektra Records printed inner sleeve is intact with seam splits on the right side and bottom.
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
