Beschreibung (EN below):
Paul Chains legendäres Doom Album in Kooperation mit (neben anderen Beteiligten) Cathedrals Lee Dorian. Originale Erstpressung, gekauft neu bei Erscheinen. Das Vinyl läuft sauber durch ohne Hänger, Sprünge oder Ausrutscher, keine Kratzer. NEAR MINT (NM), wurde damals nur ein, zwei mal gespielt, dann kam die (ebenfalls hervorragend klingende) CD stattdessen dran.
Das Cover sieht vorn und hinten aus wie neu, hat aber zwei sehr kleine Eckenpreller (bitte die beiden Detailfotos checken, um eine Idee bzgl. Ausmaß zu bekommen). Ein weiterer leichter Knick befindet sich an der Öffnung, ließ sich mit meiner Kamera jedoch nicht erfassen und ist auch sonst auf den ersten Blick nicht wahrnehmbar.
Die Innenhülle mit Texten ist enthalten. Sie sieht ebenfalls fast aus wie neu, hat aber einen glatten Seamsplit an der Seite und minimalen Kreisabdruck der LP. Diese kommt in einer frischen Antistatik-Schutzhülle, um die bedruckte Innenhülle besser zu erhalten (Vinyl ist hier extrem scharfkantig). Alles in Allem ein rarer, limitierter Doom-Klassiker in super Zustand. Das matte Kartonmaterial ist sehr weich und empfindlich, jedoch wurde das gute Stück gut behandelt und kaum benutzt. ACHTUNG: mehr Metal, insbesondere Doom und Death, folgt in den kommenden Tagen und Wochen!
Description:
Paul Chain's legendary doom record featuring (among others) Cathedral's Lee Dorian. Original first pressing, bought new at release. Runs smoothly, no hanging, skipping or skidding, zero scratches. Vinyl in NEAR MINT condition, has only 2 or 3 plays on it before I switched to the CD version (which also sounds exceptional).
Cover looks like new front and back but has very small crinkles at two of the corners (see the two detail photos to get an idea of the scale). Another minor crinkle that's barely noticeable can be detected at the cover's opening. However, my camera wasn't able to capture it.
Inner sleeve with lyrics included. Looks but has one clean seam split and very minor ringwear. LP comes in a fresh antistatic protective sleeve, to preserve the printed one. Overall a rare, limited Doom classic in great shape. Cover matte cardboard is very soft and fragile but the piece has been treated with caution and rarely used. ATTENTION: Watch out for more doom and death metal LPs coming during the next weeks/months! Bang that head that doesn't bang!
