PAUL FERRIS, PETER KNIGHT - STRANGE LOCATION. De Wolfe Records DWLP3150 UK Mono LP 1970. ORIGINAL RED LABEL SECOND PRESSING WITH PLAIN WHITE SLEEVE AND DE WOLFE STICKER. Condition: EX+/EX+(looks and sounds perfect and unplayed).

Gothic evil horror drama suspense library music composed by Paul Ferris on side 1 and Peter Knight on side 2. Paul Ferris is legendary as the composer of the never released original film soundtrack to Witchfinder General and this album is the only original way to listen to that music. The Peter Knight composed side 2 features never released music from the original film soundtrack of The Curse Of The Crimson Altar. Both scores were also used on numerous Shaw Bros. Kung Fu action films of the seventies and In The Shadows (No.3) composed by Paul Ferris and Love Theme by Peter Knight were used on the Monty Python And The Holy Grail film soundtrack!

This is not the modern Trunk Records reissue. It's an original UK library music album.

Lovecraft-inspired horror movie ʻThe Curse of the Crimson Altarʼ composed this time by arranger Peter Knight and starring the mighty duo of Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee. ..."
