This listing is for the 1985 U.S. pressing of Rain Forest, the influential electro album by pioneering British producer and keyboardist Paul Hardcastle, released by Profile Records (PRO-1206). Built around Hardcastle's early electronic production, synthesizers, and programmed rhythms, Rain Forest emerged during the formative years of electro and electronic dance music. The title track became one of Hardcastle's signature early recordings and helped establish him internationally before the breakthrough success of "19."
This U.S. edition features the special U.K. remix of "Rain Forest". It also includes "King Tut," "Panic," "Forest Fire," "Loitering With Intent," "A.M.," "Sound Chaser," and the original mix of "Rain Forest." This copy remains factory sealed in its original shrink wrap with the original hype sticker intact.

Grading Guide
NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
Vinyl looks freshly opened with full gloss and no visible marks, spindle wear, or surface noise. Sleeve is crisp and clean with no creases, seam splits, or ring wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl shows light signs of use, possibly a few minor scuffs or hairlines that do not affect play. Sleeve may show slight wear, including light edge wear, a small crease, or minimal ring wear.
Very Good (VG)
Vinyl has visible surface wear and light scratches, with occasional surface noise but no skips. Sleeve shows moderate wear such as ring wear, seam splits, writing, or creasing.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-)
Vinyl plays through without skipping but has varying degrees of heavy wear, significant surface noise, and visible damage or label defects. Sleeve is heavily worn, with large seam splits, major ring wear, heavy writing, and/or tape/sticker damage.
Poor (P) or Fair (F)
Vinyl is cracked, warped, or skips during playback and is typically unplayable. Sleeve is extremely damaged or destroyed, with severe tears, water damage, or missing elements.
