- 1978 East World Records EWLP-98006, this is an original Japanese vinyl pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the classic Paul Jackson album "Black Octopus". Session finds Jackson joined by Alphonse Mouzon, Roy Obiedo, Bennie Maupin, Herbie Hancock, and Webster Lewis. "Direct Disk Soundphile Series" LP is still sealed in loose outer plastic sleeve and unplayed; there is a drill hole at upper right corner - through the bag and jacket - and an "Artistic And Sonic Excellence Make This A Standard Disc International Reference Series Selection" Audio-Technica sticker affixed to said plastic sleeve. Outside of a few minor corner bumps from years of storage and some ring wear/rubbing on the shrink, this one is otherwise untouched. Thanks for looking and good luck.
