Paul McCartney and Wings - 'My Love / The Mess'. R 5985
Paul McCartney and Wings 1973 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'My Love / The Mess' 7" single. Offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT+/EXCELLENT condition and housed within the original and very rare RED APPLE SLEEVE. This also contains two Wings promotional inserts.
Released on the 23rd March 1973, these initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the custom 'Apple Records' label this single is definitely among Paul's finest solo work. The vinyl comes complete with the original plain red Apple sleeve in which only a select few copies came housed. These are very hard to locate and seldom come up for sale, this is a wonderful example grading at EXCELLENT+ condition. This promotional version also comes complete with two Wings inserts - Wings / MPL card and Wings comp slip. A wonderful McCartney rarity in great condition.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition on the a-side and EXCELLENT condition on the b-side.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
The inserts are is in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition.
