This auction is for a very rare and highly collectible pressing of the 1970 Paul McCartney solo Apple LP, simply titled 'McCartney'. What makes this particular pressing special is that it's a MONO pressing!
In the UK the mono format died out just after Yellow Submarine was released in 1969 (even earlier in America, dying out just after Magical Mystery Tour in 1967). In the UK the final two albums were only available in mono on reel to reel tape. Vinylwise, however, it was stereo only.
However, in Brazil, the mono format was still going, and McCartney was released in both mono and stereo! In fact, the mono format continued on into the early 70's, so Let It Be and the early solo releases have all been confirmed to have a Brazilian mono release!
A very collectible record with a high curios value!

The cover is holding up okay, but as it only has a semi-laminated finish, it's been prone to quite a bit of light dirt buildup over the surface, both front and back. the edges and corners have a little wear and there's a little disc impression on the back. Top seam is holding but a small split has just started to appear in the middle. bottom seam is holding tightly. Spine is blank with no text and has no wear or splitting except for a little knocking at the corners, to and bottom. Inner gatefold has no laminate but hasn't built up any grime or dirt that I can see, and has a nice colour. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG-

The playing surface has a nice shine to it and has a fair amout of light, faint scuffing and light marks with nothing I can see that's really heavy or anything.

The labels are nice but do look everso slightly tired, if that makes sense. There's some spindlewear and a little whitening around the spindlehole, but that's about it. Looking nice! Funnily enough, 'Glasses' has not been numbered despite being listed, and the numbering jumps from 5 for Hot As Sun to 6 for Junk!
