All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if purchased.
This record is in excellent+ condition. It has a few faint spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, fading or any other serious damage. There is next to no wear around the centre holes and overall the Apple labels are clean, bright and in really nice condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have the most vivid lustre and show nothing remotely serious in normal light. There is around 5 or 6 very faint and thin lines showing on side 1 when angled with a further 3 or 4 on side 2. There is also a couple of small 'blotchy' marks or smudges on side 2 but these are again really minor. Overall the vinyl has nothing remotely serious with just a few light signs of use to its playing surfaces. It is most certainly not covered in light scratches and for 47 years old is excellent.
I play tested the record and it played great with very clear audio throughout and just a couple of brief light noises audible. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is only a very minor hint of movement in the record arm. The audio is crisp, clear and defined throughout with next to no surface noise and of course no skips, sticks or loud annoying ticks. Side 1 played with strong EX+ audio throughout and I noted little. I picked up on one single 'pop' 8-10 seconds from the end of track 6(caused by the most tiny spot imaginable) but other than this nothing. Side 2 was much the same but on this occasion I noted 3 maybe 4 light single noises spread across track 2 and 3. These were light and not hugely disruptive and overall both sides are a strong grade of EX+ in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole play test and other than the odd minor noise as mentioned noted little with the overall clarity of the record very nice indeed.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has only mild wear to the edges and corners with the writing along the spine all clearly legible. There are no splits and the sleeve as a whole is very strong. The front and rear have some laminate 'mottling' showing and mild ring marks. There is also a few creases in the laminate in places. There are no tears on the sleeve and no obvious pen marks(now faint indentation of one on rear, where the one pictured has been 'rubbed' out leaving an indentation'). There is a small scuff/mark and a scratch on the front in the top left corner area(see pics). Overall a strong and tidy sleeve with some signs of use and its age but no really nasty issues. I have tried to outline the sleeves issues as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition. It contains its original plain white inner which is in very good condition with no tears, splits or pen marks but with some age related discolouring, minor creasing and some staining in places. I will therefore send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure the record remains clean and fresh.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
