This auction is for THREE GREAT albums from Paul McCartney. Two are with Wings, the other on is a solo album. They contain some of his most popular post-Beatle songs. The albums are:
- Band on the Run, was the third studio album from Wings, released in 1973. It was the top selling album in the UK and Australia in 1974 and remains McCartney's most successful album and the most celebrated of his post-Beatles works.

This copy of Band on the Run is in VG+ condition. The LP plays well. The covers have very minor creasing & edge wear. The insert and poster are also VG.
- Venus and Mars was the fourth studio album from Wings, released in 1975. Huge at the time of its release, it was the album that launched Wings’ year-long world tour. It reached Number 1 on the album charts around the world and contained hit singles, Listen To What the Man Said, Letting Go and Venus and Mars/Rock Show. N.B. This version has Letting Go listed as ‘Letting To’ on the label.

This copy of Venus and Mars is in Very Good condition. The LP has minor scuffing but plays well. The cover is good with minor edge wear and creasing. The insert is excellent. The set includes two posters, one of which has torn along the fold.
- Tug of War, was the third solo studio album from Paul McCartney, released in 1982. It was McCartney’s first album after the break-up of his band Wings the previous year, and his first album following the murder of John Lennon. It was a huge seller and remains one of McCartney’s best loved solo efforts, containing his tribute to Lennon, Here Today. This copy is the version with the EMI "One Box" at the top of each label and no EMI logo at base. The album insert is included with this copy.

Please note I will do my best to grade the condition of these records, but I am not a professional grader. If anything, the gradings will be conservative. All LPs will be test played but only major defects will be reported.
I am happy to combine postage if you are interested in more than one listing. The item will be packed carefully to ensure it arrives safely which may mean postage is a little higher, but I will only charge you the postage I pay. Local pick up will be from the Highett area, about 5 minutes from Southland Shopping Centre. Overseas buyers please note postage is based on weight and distance, which can make buying from Australia quite expensive.
