PAUL NICHOLAS – FREEDOM CITY/RUN SHAKER LIFE – POLYDOR
1970 rare freakbeat 7-inch 45rpm Polydor single, catalogue number 56374, Paul Nicholas – Freedom City and Run Shaker Life. Paul Nicholas won the title role in the London premier of Jesus Christ Superstar and went on to appear in British TV sit-coms. More recently his B-side, Run Shaker Life, has been unearthed by mod DJs, described as one of the 40 most collectable records, and, with a picture sleeve, sold on eBay for very high prices.
The disc is clean and shiny BUT on side A (Freedom City) there is a deep 1cm scratch which produces about 40 ticks (it doesn’t jump). On side B there are faint inaudible marks. Disc supplied in plain card sleeve.
