Description
Up for auction is an acetate & a test pressing of Fear Of Flying by Paul Shuttleworth of the Kursaal Flyers, released circa 1979 on EPIC, cat no S EPC 8208. I say “released”; I can find no evidence of this 45 ever being issued anywhere on the web, thus I assume it reached test pressing stage & was then dropped from the release schedules. The acetate has an alternate cut of Fear Of Flying on the flip which cuts out midway through the track, while the test pressing has a b-side of Just Another Weekend. Incredible find for any pub rock collector.
Condition: a minor mark or two on the acetate, not affecting play. EX. Test pressing looks unplayed. M-.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
