PAUL WELLER-HEAVY SOUL-VINYL LP-PINK ISLAND-UK-MINT!!!
I am having a good clear out of all my records and thinning them out a bit.
They all come from my personal collection which started when I was TEN... I am 45 this year!!
Here is an interesting one. It is a copy of the 1997 PAUL WELLER album HEAVY SOUL.
I have a vague recollection of buying it in the HMV shop in Oxford street, London years ago with some others and then putting it away. I can honestly say I no recollection of ever playing this record!!
I would never usually grade an album MINT unless it was totally brand new. This record looks absolutely brand new. The sleeve, however, I would grade as EX simply because the crease and spine show signs of ownership. This may have happened in the bag or on the journey home from the record shop, I really don't know. What I DO know is that I didn't even know I had it until I started digging through the collection!!!
The "Pink Island" label is a nice retro touch I must admit, again this was a total surprise when I got it out of the sleeve today to examine it
To sum up....
- This record has had no play in its life to my knowledge and I am the only person who has ever owned it.
- The sleeve shows minor signs of ownership and there is a crease on the rear and some spine marks. I have detailed these in the pictures so you know what you are buying
- The vinyl record is completely unmarked so I have NOT played it to maintain the "Mint-ness"
- The inner sleeve and lric sheet are in wonderful condition.
This album really is in stunning condition and I grade ultra strictly!!
This album is graded EX/MINT (Sleeve graded first)
Due to the free postage funny business that ebay has imposed, think of this as roughly a tenner starting price plus postage of £2.75 (Total £12.75).
All the records I am selling are graded to Record Collector standards which you will see at the bottom of this advert
IMPORTANT.........
Payment is by PAYPAL ONLY.
Free UK postage is now enforced by ebay so 2nd class postage and packing costs of approx £2.75 is INCLUDED in the price. Packing is done to a very high standard.
Other postage options are available at extra cost. I always recommend Special Delivery.
Buyers outside the EU MUST contact me for postal rates for your specific country. This will be charged AT COST from the Post Office and are not negotiable. I do not profit from postage and packing, I only cover my costs
I have been a keen record collector all my adult life and I am fussy!! Bid with confidence!!
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!!
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
