Description

PAUL WILLIAMS -- Songwriter -- hard to find, original 1974 album, Publishing Promo only.  One of the rarest (and most obscure) early 1970's Paul Williams LP's, this was issued by his publishing house, Irving/Almo Music, to interest other musicians in covering Williams' song catalogue including "Rainy Days & Mondays," "I Won't Last A Day Without You," "Let Me Be The One" (all co-written with his longtime partner, Roger Nichols) as well as "You & Me Against The World," "I Never Had It So Good" and others.  This was pressed in very limited quantities and only circulated to other artists' management companies, and was never released to record stores or radio stations.  These may or may not be the same versions and mixes of the songs available on Williams' commercially released LP's; you'd need to listen to each song for comparison with the regularly released versions.  This LP is extremely hard to come by, and doesn't even turn up in most discographies of Williams' albums -- I've never seen another copy.  See photo for track list.  Cover:  VG+, ring wear, light wear at corners.  Includes original inner sleeve w/ song titles.  Record:  VG+++, on Irving-Almo/A&M Records label, U.S. press.
