Description
PB & The Staunchmen: Mean Willy b/w Lost Generation 45 on LEE 100
This incredibly rare record is featured on the rarest garage 45 list at number #166:
"166 - P.b. & The Staunchmen - Mean Willy / Lost Generation (Lee 100) S4/R4/L2 from the same Lee records outta Hornell, N.Y. who released the Ascendors killer, comes this short but sweet rant concerning one Mean Willy, who goes around pickin' up girls and tellin' 'em lies. Lotsa dynamics lift this track, especially the frantic break, and the subdued verse which follows and builds to the screaming finale. We suppose this 45 is as rare or even rarer than the Ascendors 45, which assumes a less-than-10 count for copies in the loop. The flip is a protest-style folk ballad. Hear it on Garage Punk Unknowns Vol. 8"

Condition of 45: Vinyl is graded conservatively under bright light as VG. The disc has a fair share of scuff marks, but no real scratches - nothing that can be felt with a fingertip. Plays clear and loud with minimal surface noise. Tested on my Denon DP 30-L II with a Grado 526-D7 cartridge, listen:
Label on Side A shows a little stainage. Label on Side B looks very clean. See pics:
I have been selling records for several years and my grading can be trusted: please check my feedback. None of these P.B. and the Staunchmen records has appeared on eBay or popsike.com in the last couple of years to my knowledge. This is one of the few known copies of this gem.
Shipping to U.S. is $4.00 media, $6.00 priority. Insurance is recommended. Shipping international will cost extra. I prefer paypal but I also accept money orders (no checks please). Please email with questions - thank you and good luck!!
