Knorr COMPLETE SET of 7 Records Peace Can It Last Watchtower Jehovah RARE!

Here is an original COMPLETE SET of seven records by Brother N. H. Knorr, President of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society for the HISTORIC talk given in the middle of World War II entitled "Peace Can It Last" produced by Watchtower in 1942. These records were played in the door-to-door ministry by Jehovah's Witnesses using portable phonographs. This is a WONDERFUL display item to show the friends. Usually you have to find these records one at a time, here is a chance to get a complete set!

On the final day of the assembly, Brother Knorr delivered the discourse "Peace—Can It Last?" In it he set out powerful evidence from Revelation 17:8 that World War II, which was then raging, would not lead into Armageddon, as some thought, but that the war would end and a period of peace would set in. There was still work to be done in proclaiming God’s Kingdom. The conventioners were told that in order to help care for the anticipated growth in the organization, starting the next month the Society would send "servants to the brethren" to work with the congregations. Each congregation would be visited every six months.

In the midst of World War II, in 1942, when some wondered whether the preaching work was perhaps just about finished, the convention public talk delivered by N. H. Knorr, the newly designated president of the Watch Tower Society, was “Peace—Can It Last?” The explanation in that discourse of the symbolic “scarlet-colored wild beast” of Revelation chapter 17 opened up to the view of Jehovah’s Witnesses a period following World War II in which there would be opportunity to direct yet more people to God’s Kingdom. This gave impetus to a global campaign that over the years has reached into more than 235 lands and is not yet finished.

The records are in VERY NICE condition. The records have a little wear are without any major scratching and should play well. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. NOTE the records have reflections from light they are not scratches. The records come with brown paper protective sleeves but the first record of the set includes an original J. F. Rutherford protective sleeve!

Refunds & Returns
