Description
Classic West Texas rockabilly 45 gem featuring Johnny “Peanuts” Wilson on the BRUNSWICK label, from 1958.
Titles are “Cast Iron Arm” and “You’ve Got Love.”
This is a stock purple label with silver print. Catalog number is 9-55039. The matrix number is machine-stamped in the trailoff area. Comes with original Brunswick printed paper sleeve in excellent condition.
Record is in beautiful condition, vinyl grades NM- with full original gloss, a couple slight scuffs that do not affect play, sound is brilliant and clean. Unfortunately, the “A” side label has two small torn spots where a someone removed a piece of tape. Otherwise, the condition is impeccable.
I included a sound clip from this actual record so you can hear this great tune and also the nice clean sound. A must-have for the serious rockabilly collector or anyone looking to upgrade their copy. According to the Buddy Holly museum, this was one of the 50 tunes Buddy carried with him in two Platter Paks whenever he traveled.
