PEARL JAM Set of 6 Colored Vinyl 90-92 Box Set Samplers

ULTRA ULTRA RARE/MY OWN COMPLETE SET/MINT AND UNPLAYED

Here it is--probably the rarest Pearl Jam records in existence. Due to the extraordinary interest in the black vinyl "1990-1992 Boxed Set Sampler" EP I sold this week, I've decided to offer my own complete set of the six colored vinyl examples in this auction.

As a result of my previous auction, the set has been added to the definitive Pearl Jam collectors site, pjcollectors.com (the relevant page can be seen here: ( http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=1984 ).

This ultra rare picture sleeve EP was pressed to promote the "1990-1992" box set, and includes not only the tracks "State of Love And Trust"/"Oceans"/"Deep" and "Evil Little Goat", but after the 4th track there is a 5th hidden track not listed on the label. It's in a locked groove, meaning when "Evil Little Goat" ends, it appears like the side is over. But if you lift the needle an set it back down, there is a short version of the Alice In Chains song "It Ain't Like That" that starts off with mainly drums and bass, then a voice which says (at least this is what it sounds like it says) "Hello, this is Abe Vigoda and I just want to say that Alice In Chains rocks my world." (Abe Vigoda is an American character actor, and it sounds as if this is just Pearl Jam screwing around during a recording session.)

This set includes all 6 colored vinyl versions of this rare EP; silver/gold/red/white/clear and black, each with it's own fold over picture sleeve and plastic outer sleeve (each of which has a title sticker, the color of which corresponds to the color of the disc inside.) All singles, sleeves and outer sleeves are in mint, unplayed condition. This set was evidently made as a "thank you" for those involved with the "1990-1992" Boxed Set, but evidently wasn't circulated (perhaps someone was unhappy with the hidden track ?).

I was fortunate to obtain this set from someone close to the project (I also obtained the very rare white vinyl "Backspacer" LP and blue vinyl "Fixer" from him--major Pearl Jam rarities I sold last year.)

For those interested in such things, the matrix reads (A Side) 0U071 3A SMEP PJ PRO 7 and (B Side) 04071 2B SMPJPRO7. The first 0 on each side has a diagonal slash through it. This is the one set I have.
