Description
Here is a extremely hard to find 1991 FIRSTPRESS of Pearl Jam's classic "TEN" album! Released on the EPIC label as "EPC 468884-1" this copy has the very though to come by FIRSTPRESS matrix numbers ending with "1A1" and "1B1" identyfying this as one of the very first copies to leave the pressing plant.. Bought by myself in the very first week of it's release in August 1991. Also has the innersleeve with printed lyrics!
Condition: Cover and Record are Near Mint, virtually immaculate. As I said I owned this since 1991 and always took great care of my records. The sleeve looks stunning, no ringwear, seamsplit, whatever. The vinyl was played maybe one or two times then taped. Must confess that back in the day the NME review and Cobain's derogative remarks directed at Vedder influenced my perception of this record. Good for you!
All in all a very well preserved copy of a classic album that is by no means hard to find on vinyl. Back in 1991 the editions weren't THAT small. But finding a firstpress in this condition is something else because back in 1991 a lot of people still were buying records and had no idea how to handle them properly!
