PELICAN Australasia 2004 2LP Test Press + Rejected A/B Disc RARE! Hydra Head
Pelican - Australasia (Erika)
2004 test pressing of US-issued Hydra Head 2LP set. Limited edition of 25 hand-numbered copies. This copy is numbered #5 of 25 on the black and white wraparound insert. Catalog number and sides written on Side 1 labels.
Also included here is a super-rare "Version #1" test pressing of sides A and B of the LP, which was pressed in an even more limited run of 8 copies. This copy is hand-numbered #2 on the black and white wraparound insert. The printed run number is crossed out, but 8 were made. Catalog number, side delineations and Version #1 written on Side 1 label.
Whether Version #1 had to be re-cut or differs sonically from the released version of the album is not known.
Unplayed, direct from label. We just acquired a personal archive of Hydra Head Records and related labels from someone closely associated with the label.
There are color variations on many of the LPs, and all are New or Like New.
Condition: Disc M-, Cover M-

We grade conservatively, accurately and honestly. S/S, M, M- (NM), VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, WBR (Poor). We do not use EX (many dealers' EX would be our VG).
