This record is in excellent condition. It has light spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape but with the spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep or sinister but do have signs of use and age. There is a few light surface lines showing on each side and also some minor sleeve marks in places. There is also some minor small marks near the outer edge of side 2. These are all light but are a sign of use and age as I say. They all clearly show under very bright light along with a few more light wispy lines but again nothing serious. So overall a used vintage record with some signs of use and light lines but nothing nasty and vinyl that still has a lovely lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays well overall and produces enjoyable audio throughout but does have some occasional minor interference in places. There is nothing really disruptive but there is occasional noise or sounds audible. The vinyl lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio has no major surface noise audible but I did note a little in the very mellow first track on side 1. I then noted 3 or 4 light ticks in track 2(side 1) and a further 3 light ticks in track 3(side 1). All these brief periods of interference and light and not hugely disruptive but can be heard faintly due to the mellow nature of the audio. Side 2 plays with the odd sporadic noise and light splutter of surface noise but is a solid grade of EX in my opinion. Overall I enjoyed the whole album and although the audio is not 100% pristine it still plays nicely for a mellow and quiet album of this age.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It has wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still legible. There are no splits or really weak areas anywhere and the sleeve as a whole is still solid all round. Other than the wear and rubbing on the edges there is also discolouring and grubbiness to each side. There is also some light stains near the rear top left corner area, near the rear bottom edge and the front top right area. There is no major creasing but there is part ring stains showing on the front. Inside the gatefold has no major issues but again has some grubbiness and discolouring in places. So overall a solid sleeve but one that has related wear and discolouring as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original plain white inner which is in very good+ condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks but has some light creasing and some age related discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
