Description
* What you see is what you get. NO RESERVE! The images you see are of the EXACT item being offered, an ultra-rare radio promotion campaign record from 1960 - which includes a letter from actress Joan Crawford (who was on Pepsi-Cola's board of directors). This seven-inch record features the voices of Crawford, comedians Bob and Ray, news anchors Chet Huntley and David Brinkley (NBC), John Daly (ABC) and Frank Singiser (Mutual Broadcasting Network). The accompanying letter and this record - were designed to generate excitement among retailers across the U.S. - about Pepsi-Cola's 1960 radio ad campaign.
* I believe this is the ONLY Pepsi-Cola promo record from 1960 that is available online. (Comparable Pepsi-Cola promo-only records from the 1970s can command prices near $200!) This record from 1960 - was never sold nor released for retail sale to the general public.
* Condition of the record is near mint plus with full gloss.
* Condition of the labels on the record is near mint. (Disregard the spots you see on the record surface. They are just random dust particles from the rug upon which these pictures were taken.)
* Condition of the record sleeve is very good +++ with age toning as pictured, no splits.
* Condition of the letter "signed" by Joan Crawford Steele (her married name) - is very good with a fold down the center as issued. (I believe her signature is an auto-pen. I am NOT representing the signature as original. It could be, but I don't know.)
* Condition of the original mailing envelope is good to very good as pictured, no splits.
* PLEASE INSPECT ALL SEVEN (7) PHOTOS CAREFULLY. 100% Original, 100% Authentic! This is an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT item to find in high grade condition - and almost impossible to find with its original mailing envelope.
