Description
Here we have a near mint condition copy of the soundtrack to the film Performance which features James Fox and Mick Jagger. The music herein includes work by Jagger himself, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Ry Cooder, Merry Clayton, Randy Newman and The Last Poets. It's a heady mixture of strange sounds and is what appears to be a first pressing on the orange Warner Bros. label with dead wax matrices that end in A-1 *T and B-1 *T. Comes in a nice poly-lined inner bag which has been with it since the day it was made. There is a little marking around the centre holes but the record is in beautiful condition that belies its age. Clean, shiny and stiff vinyl that won't even wobble when you give it a shake, absolutely sturdy. The Garrod and Lofthouse cover is also shiny and crisp with a minimal wrinkle in the laminate on the back. Almost as perfect as when it was first made, you'll wait many a year and probably never find a copy as good as this one. Come and have a look.
