HARVEST UNBOXED LABEL 1969 ORIGINAL MEGA RARE FIRST UK PRESSING WITH ERNEST J DAY OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in 1969 on the HARVEST label, I am offering today this original and mega rare first UK pressing of this great first Harvest album from PETE BROWN & HIS BATTERED ORNAMENTS  that is titled "A MEAL YOU CAN SHAKE HANDS WITH IN THE DARK". This is a mega rare first pressing with no EMI on the label and Gramophone rim text and"SOLD IN THE UK" text on the left side of the label which was only on the first five Harvest releases. The vinyl is in very clean excellent condition and plays with excellent audio. With absolutely no sticks or skips etc.

The album comes complete with its original Ernest J Day outer laminated gatefold sleeve which is in clean condition with absolutely no splits, stickers or unwanted writing etc but shows some wear to the corners. Overall a very presentable example of this rare progressive classic.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays with great audio with absolutely no sticks or skips etc

A great album that does not get offered too often

 

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually overall looks excellent, there is the odd light scuff and it plays through with excellent audio. 

The SLEEVE, The Ernest J Day outer laminated gatefold sleeve is very clean, the spine is fully legible and there is no unwanted writing or splits etc but it shows some light creasing and has wear to the corners.  

The LABELS, The first issue unboxed Harvest labels with "SOLD IN THE UK" text are very clean, They show hardly any spindle wear. Needless to say there is no unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The original generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing etc but has edge splits.

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
