ITEM:    PETE FRANKLIN  -  " Guitar Pete's Blues "

 

NOTE:  WOW - Flat Edge Pressing- VERY RARE......

Also to the collector:  The wax has a very tiny "rvg" stamp [interestingly on side 1 only] 

THIS IS A VERY RARE  ISSUE IN SEVERAL WAYS:

1.  The music is fantastic

2.  Rare "flat edge" very heavy wax pressing

3.  Although not recorded by RVG it has an "rvg" stamp in wax on one side

4.  The jacket has no writing or seam splits 

................All I can say is Blues Guitar at it's finest......

 

•  LABEL =   BLUESVILLE 1068 MONO [BLUE LABEL BERGENFILED PRESSING]

 Condition Record =   NM- /VG++   only very light surface visible.   

Condition Cover =    NM  FANTASTIC ORIGINAL COVER.  no writing, seam splits or damage.           

RECORDED BY John Sheppel July 12, 1961 MATERIAL.   FEATURING:  Pete Franklin.

Tunes:   I got to find my baby, Lonesome bedroom blues, Prison bound, Black gal, Grievin' me, Rocky Mountains, Six white horses, Sail on, My old lonesome blues, Guitar pete's blues.

MINT= A genuinely perfect record in both vinyl and cover
M=A nearly perfect record. Will have only one or two visual flaw on vinyl and/or cover
NM=Vinyl has no audible scratches but may have visual flaws. Cover will have only slight ring or edge wear.
VG++ = Vinyl will be in Near Mint Condition. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear.
VG+ = One or two light audible scratches only. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear. Possible writting on Cover and/or label.
VG = Several audible scratches, but not throughout vinyl. Cover will have wear, but no splits or tears. Possible writing on jacket and/or label.
Good = Scratches on vinyl that will effect play, but no skips or repeats. Cover may have significant wear, split, tear or tape.
