This is a very rare Pete Townshend interview album made exclusively for college radio stations back in 1989. Titled AN EYE FOR AN I , it is  "...an interview with Pete Townshend that shows many facets of his personality and offers his views on myriad subjects ranging from literature to drug & alcohol abuse, contemporary music, the state of radio, etc.  As a very special bonus, the interview closes with Townshend reading "Laguna, Valentine's Day, 1982," from his book of short stories, Horse's Neck." (from the liner notes in letter ). The interview was conducted in Atlantic Studios in N.Y.C. bu Hugh Foley. The actual interview is spread out over three LP sides and the fourth side is a banded side with just Pete's answers . This record is one from my personal collection and has been played only once by me as I immediatley taped it and put it away.  The fourth side has never been played. I received this in the mail back in 1989 directly from Atlantic Records when I managed a small record store. The set also includes the original letter of explanation , a page on "Iron Man" written by Pete, and the original cue sheets.

CONDITION: VINYL: NM / COVER- VG++ (General wear like a crease or two and a promo slit in spine towards the left corner).  One of the very last recordings made in the old Atlantic Studios in New York, the Atlantic labels are perfect and read "PROMOTIONAL COPY . NOT FOR SALE."

I used to manage a used record store for many years and I know how particular we all are.

This charge covers the cost of shipping through the USPS and for the shipping and packing materials. I'm not a seller trying to squeeze out more profit from a S/H Charge.
