PETER BUCK Of REM "Guest D.J., Show #133, Oct. 8, 1984" LP, PFM Records USA. Condition is /ex-, no sleeve, and vinyl has a very tiny bit of paper scuffing and a sticker stain on the label. Here's a cool oddity for you REM fanatics. Peter Buck as Guest DJ for a syndicated radio show in October 1984. He talks a mile a minute, drinks beer, pines for his future yacht, and plays some REM tunes and other great music he likes. Here's a vague rundown: "South Central Rain" by REM, Jason & The Nashville Scorchers, Shangri-Las, Fleshtones, a brief interlude with a commercial and a Talking Heads tune, "Windout" by REM, Let's Active, Chuck Berry, another ad followed by a Cars song, The Cramps, Rain Parade, and Radio Free Europe by REM. HE finishes by noting that it was not a big enough hit to get him his yacht... I have no idea how many of this LP were pressed, not my specialty... I do know I could find no evidence of the record online.
