Released in 1973 on the CHARISMA MAD HATTER label, I am offering today this original first UK pressing of this classic solo album from ex Van Der Graaf Generator PETER HAMMILL titled "CHAMELEONS IN THE SHADOW OF THE NIGHT".
The vinyl visually looks unplayed but I have played it through and can state that it plays through with fantastic audio. A very enjoyable listen.
The album comes complete with E J DAY printed fragile textured gatefold sleeve and original generic white inner sleeve.
I have just played this album through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays very well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
Not an easy LP to find these days.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks unplayed. And audibly it plays through well, I would describe this as near mint as it plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc, overall a very enjoyable listen.
The SLEEVE, The fragile textured gatefold sleeve printed by E J Day is in excellent condition, clean with no stickers splits or unwanted writing etc.
The LABELS, The first issue Charisma labels show no spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted stickers etc.
The INNER, The original generic white inner is free from unwanted writing or stickers etc but has splitting.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
