Description
Back in 1980, my business partner Dare and I decided to create a label, as a spin-off from our indie record store...we both had girlfriends who were lead singers in bands, and our recently separated Radio Birdman mates had formed bands, along with other friends who'd done the same...and we loved them all, but no major label was gonna touch them...so Phantom Records the label, was born...and lasted until the late '90's. Now that whole deal's not something I'm specifically crowing about here...more just so you undertsand why I own an item like this...and in fact, KNOW the details of its existence.
So anyway, this record below is something I've held onto since it first came into my hands back then:

CATALOGUE #: PH12-49 .
DATE OF RELEASE: 1991 .
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes...the first pressing was on blue vinyl - this is one of those - but even more to the point, this is the ONLY copy I kept of the promotional 'set' we sent out to magazines and radio at the time.
Apart from the record itself, included with it are the following 4 items:
- a 2-page A4-size bio sheet
- a large black and white promo photo
- an invite to the Melbourne record launch (on 7th December 1991)
- a huge full-size colour sticker of the album cover art (same size as the cover)
ALL THE ABOVE ITEMS ARE MINT
All 3 tracks are simply awwwwesome jangly psychedelic guitar-pop...VERY similar to the very best tracks by the The Church...band includes Richard Ploog (also of The Church), and Jim Leone (of The Celibate Rifles).
