Description

This is a fine copy from a 2003 reissue on the Italian Akarma label of the uber-rare sole LP by Iowa hard rock group Phafner, originally released in a micro-pressing of 50 copies in 1971.  The record was recorded in a basement studio, and featured eight original compositions.  Its reissue history is somewhat convoluted.  It was first reissued by Rockadelic on its Animus Oculus imprint in 1989 with different cover art and an altered track order.  Nine years later, Akarma put it out using the Rockadelic cover art (with minor alterations) and track order, though omitting the final two tracks (which had been given different titles on the Rockadelic issue for some reason).  This second Akarma reissue was the first and to date only one to reproduce the original cover art and track order.  I purchased this copy new, and did not open it.  Over the years, the shrink wrap has split, but the disc has never been removed from the jacket (thus I'm grading it M).  The jacket itself has creasing in one corner, but is otherwise close to pristine -- EX(+).

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
