From the liner notes:
Once upon our time there is a group of young men who came together and formulated a dream.
They dared to dream that they could create an approach to the arts that would encompass their experience in America, the soul of their mother land…Africa, and the spirit of oneness of the Universe. This marked the “AWAKENINGâ€
After awakening into a dream, one must then labor and sacrifice in order to make it a reality.
This has been the story of this group, which began performing in a small night club, and went on to help establish the “AFFRO ARTS THEATER†in Chicago, where they nurtured their dream to it’s present reality.
Listen…listen, not only with your ears…listen with your soul and your spirit to the sounds of an African village…listen to incantations to the god DAMBALLA on a moonlit night…listen to the sounds of the Pygmies blended with the Soul Sounds of 39th Street in Chicago…PYGMY POWER!
Listen to the sounds of “FREEDOMâ€â€¦listen to the simultaneous dimensions of time (past, present, future) in the “GREAT HOUSE†…listen and you shall hear the spiritual fruits of the ‘PHAROAHS.â€
Guaranteed to be original and authentic. I do not sell boots or reissues.

Jacket: Jacket is in EX to EX+ condition, overall extremely fine shape, no writing, splits, or problems except for very slight wear spots at corner tips. Front art work is clean and nice, no traces of ring wear. Reverse is clean and white.
Vinyl: Viny is very clean, this record appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care. There are a couple very slight hairlines (not audible), no serious marks or other problems. I have played the record on my Thorens turntable, and it plays beautifully with awesome fidelity and no tics, surface noise, or other problems. I believe the winning bidder will be very pleased.
