Description

Up for auction is a nice, original copy of the Pharoah Sanders album Jewels Of Thought, originally released in the U.S. on Impulse Records (AS-9190) in 1969.
-Guaranteed original pressing -Original black labels w/ red rim -Original laminated gatefold cover -Heavy inflexible vinyl
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Condition: Cover is very nice, still has its original shine.  Lamination is in nice condition, very shiny, no tears--does have one spot of lifting on back upper right corner (see photo).  Seams are nice, no splits.  Corners nice, light rubbing.  Interior is clean, light age.  A very nice original. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl is nice, still has its original shine.  Generally clean, both sides do have a couple superficial light hairlines and scuffs--nothing deep or serious--nothing that will affect the quality of the playback.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.
Play-Tested: I've spot tested this record and the sound quality is excellent--no significant detractions, just a little faint pressing noise on the run-in grooves but it fades out once music kicks in.  Nice full-bodied fidelity.  Not audiophile perfect, but none of these vintage pressings are. 
Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
